Where to find the camp
MmaTsebe Tented Camp is located within a secluded private position of 25 hectares in Khwai along the Mbudi Channel. 30 minutes’ game drive from North Gate Moremi Game Reserve, 30 minutes’ game drive from Khwai airstrip, and 3.5 hours drive from Maun. The popular game rich area of Khwai shares borders with Chobe National Park, Savuti and Moremi Game Reserve, MmaTsebe Tented Camp therefore has easy access to these iconic game locations in Northern Botswana.

How to get there?
Air Charter from Maun or any camp in Northern Botswana to Khwai airstrip. We will collect you from Khwai airstrip, a game drive of 20 min.

What to Wear:
Pack comfortable layers for cool mornings and warm days, and flat shoes for safaris.

Where to find the camp
Moela Safari is a luxurious, beautifully crafted lodge on the cliffs of Botswana’s Boteti River Valley, where the Okavango Delta drains into the Kalahari Desert, overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Moela sits in the 700ha Ngande Private Reserve, a Community owned, exclusive use concession. The lodge was constructed by skilled Batswana craftspeople and artisans from the local village using locally sourced materials. The suites have been carefully designed assuring sensitivity to the ecology, maximizing your experience of the abundant wildlife coming to drink at the water’s edge below. What to Wear:
The Makgadikgadi climate at the end of April will have cool nights and mornings with Temperatures ranging from 10 to 30 Degrees Celsius. Cool comfortable clothing with a jacket for the mornings and evenings, your swimming costume to enjoy the pool in the heat of the day and kit for the yoga sessions.

Accommodation:
Eight open plan, thatched luxury suites all have spectacular panoramas over the valley. Each suite has its own elegant viewing deck to exclusively enjoy the endless streams of wildlife drinking from the water below. Options are twin shared accommodation with ensuite facilities, and a limited number of single suites available at a premium price. All chalets are equipped with solar powered 220-volt electricity with generator back up.

We cater to all dietary requirements and allergies as informed prior to your arrival. The cuisine at Moela Safari Lodge is Western with an african twist, all homemade with fresh ingredients. The lodge provides light and hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches, homemade cake or cookies for tea and a three-course set menu for dinner.
